US Carburetion, Inc.416 Main StreetSummersville, West Virginia 26651"Celebrating 10 years of customer service" US Carburetion, Inc. was founded in 1995 in Atlanta, Georgia. In the beginning, the company was providing conversion kits and parts for forklifts and over-the-road vehicles (one of our biggest customers was a builder of space shuttles). We also worked with industrial equipment which included generators, street cutting saws, golf carts, scooters and more. Starting January 1, 1997, the new EPA regulations caused vehicles kits to basically triple overnight and vehicle conversions plummeted. Soon the company shifted its focus to just the industrial market. Then, in 1998, we heard a strange new term, Y2K. Needless to say we were so inundated with conversion kit orders that generators became our main focus. That event seemed to educate people to the fact that clean alternative fuel is dependable, still available in emergencies, can safely be stored for years and cannot gum up the fuel system. In 1999 the company was relocated to beautiful West Virginia. Soon after the new millennium was up and running, we decided that we should provide a complete high end generator package for customers and not just do-it-yourself kits. We needed to find a generator manufacturer that would have to meet our high standards. They would have to be the best not only in quality but in "nationwide" service and would have to be customer oriented just like us. It took no time at all for us to decide to team up with Yamaha-Motor, US. We were quickly approved as the only "factory authorized" conversion center and we started shipping generators soon thereafter. In 2005, US Carburetion was already in the top 2 % for Yamaha generator sales nationwide and we are sure to be number one very soon. We constructed 2 buildings in the last 4 years with the last one being woefully undersize before it was even finished. After moving 3 times in five years, this month, April 2006, we have finally put down roots. We are happy to say we are now in a large, very comfortable building on Main Street in downtown Summersville. However, if the past is any indicator, we will probably be adding a second floor before long. . . .
